[Lupin ss3 review netflix] Tell a new story, but still have fun in the same old way.

Lupin ss3

Summary

In summary, this is a series that brings in a new storyline with new characters and a mysterious new boss. However, it still follows the traditional format of alternating between the present and the past. The big heist scenes are only in the first two episodes, after which it shifts to smaller-scale heists. This makes the overall story feel less over-the-top and more down-to-earth, but the protagonist still manages to escape easily, just like before. The plot now focuses more on family relationships and resolves the lingering legal issues from previous seasons. They have extended the number of episodes to 7 for this season, which allows for a more thorough storytelling compared to leaving things hanging like in the previous two seasons (although there is still a hint of a sequel at the end). Overall, if you’ve enjoyed it so far, I recommend continuing to watch as it maintains the same enjoyable format as before.

Lupin ss3 Review (No Spoilers)

The storyline of this season starts with a completely new plot unrelated to Seasons 1 and 2. It revolves around Assane’s wife and child, whom he left behind, as they attempt to reunite and escape together. However, their plans are thwarted due to the ongoing case involving Assane. This forces him to devise a grand heist plan targeting the nation’s prized possession, the ‘Black Pearl,’ in order to divert attention and have the entire country chasing after it. The authorities, led by a determined police force.

This sets the stage for the initial two episodes, featuring a seemingly impossible mission. However, as the storyline unfolds, the heist becomes surprisingly straightforward. Yet, the story doesn’t end there, as this mission holds a hidden layer of complexity. It turns out that Lupin’s true goal isn’t the Black Pearl itself but rather finding a way to free Assan’s wife and child from the entanglement of the ongoing case. This idea is drawn from the original novels that define Lupin’s character as unique.

But what is the main plot of this section is actually what follows. That is the introduction of the main antagonist or boss of this section. He is a villain who comes from Assane’s childhood, and there is a new character, Assane’s mother. He used to think she had abandoned him, but she was actually taken into custody. The story gradually recounts his childhood, during a period when he drifted away from Claire and lived in a boxing camp with other orphans. In this part, new childhood friends are introduced, and there is a period of estrangement from Claire. It’s like a narrative from two seasons ago. The story slowly unravels the past, with a mystery about who from the past is the current main antagonist. The past storyline is a bit deceive to the audience, and it’s connected to present events over time, with a couple of small-scale heists occurring twice. This adds an intriguing element to the story, as it follows the villain’s threats to hold his mother hostage. As for mother, her role remains shrouded in mystery, leaving viewers wondering whether she is who .

The story also includes a subplot about the characters’ relationships over time. As Assane tries to get closer to his family by pretending to be a basketball coach for his son, Claire begins to feel that he has similarities to Assane, which slowly opens her heart again. On the other hand, there are the police,Guedira and Sofia, who play a more significant role in chasing Assane but separately. It becomes evident that Guedira falls in love with Sofia but is hesitant to confess. Assane himself secretly helps their love story develop, making this part of the story incredibly charming.

The overall story still unfolds in the same way, with the narrative switching between the present and the past, which can sometimes be frustrating due to the frequent interruptions in the storytelling. The protagonist continues to engage in exaggerated actions as before., but the absence of major action scenes, as in previous installments, makes the story feel more modest and believable on a smaller scale. This actually makes this installment more enjoyable than the previous ones, as it doesn’t rely as much on exaggerated action sequences.
