The Swedish film from the Original Netflix, which has exceeded expectations with its compelling storyline, revolves around a limited cast of only 3 main characters traveling in a single car throughout the entire story, providing an entertaining experience. This film stands out for its absence of action scenes as it draws inspiration from real-life events. It features Fares Fares , who not only stars but also writes the script and makes his directorial debut. He plays one of the three main characters, a police officer tasked with driving.

 

Certainly, this is undeniably a low-budget film with a concept idea, which is based on a true story. The events in the story span more than one day, as the title suggests, but the film condenses them into a 1 hour and 35-minute runtime filled with intense and compelling narratives. It makes every minute count, diving right into the plot with the immediate characters. As they journey, they gradually reveal the motivations behind their actions through their dialogues, laden with societal issues and heart-wrenching stories.

The film evokes a sense of sadness and despair, immersing the audience in the grim reality of the circumstances. It slowly unveils different facets of the three characters, all dealing with family-related problems, which elicits sympathy from viewers. Lukas (Fares Fares)), the police officer who struggles to control the emotional situation inside the cramped car, where the hostile individuals are forced together, on the brink of committing suicide at any moment.

All three actors bring such authenticity to their roles that it feels as though they are the actual perpetrators, the accused, and the police officer, portraying their characters with utmost realism.
